Printing processAll prints, framed or unframed are professional quality fine-art Giclee prints. They are printed using light-fast pigment based archival inks on acid-free 315gsm soft-textured fine-art board. Out of direct sunlight, these prints should remain sharp and bright for at least 70-80 years. All mugs, mouse mats and t-shirts are sublimation printed. This allows us to produce high quality "one-off" items and is superior to the traditional "transfer" printing process that is probably used by your local print-shop. With sublimation printing, at high pressure and temperature, the ink is actually absorbed into the surface of the item being printed. This gives a much more durable and colour-fast result than transfer printing with no plastic sheet of transfer on the surface of the item which will crack, chip and peel off over time.
